Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Neighborhood-Nest wants everyone to be able to use our website—including people with disabilities. We are working to make the Neighborhood-Nest web app more accessible over time and to treat accessibility as an ongoing product responsibility, not a one-time checklist.

Standard We Aim For

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical target for new and updated pages. That is an aspiration and design goal. We have not completed a formal third-party WCAG audit of the entire Platform, and we do not claim full conformance at this time.

Known Limitations & Ongoing Work

Some areas of the product may still be difficult to use with assistive technologies. Examples of work we continue to improve include:

  • Keyboard focus order and visible focus styles on complex forms and modals
  • Map and address-autocomplete experiences that depend on third-party widgets
  • Consistent labeling, error messaging, and contrast across older screens
  • Testing coverage with screen readers and other assistive tools

We prioritize fixes when we learn about barriers that block core tasks such as signing in, posting a request, bidding, messaging, or managing an account.

Request Help or Report a Barrier

If you need assistance using Neighborhood-Nest, or if you find an accessibility barrier, please contact us. Tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if relevant.
